Bernadette Mualumatweh Foh is a distinguished legal scholar, healthcare executive, and scholar-practitioner whose career bridges the disciplines of law, organizational leadership, public policy, education, and executive administration. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Pivotal Initiatives, she leverages a rare combination of legal, business, and behavioral credentials to guide corporate and nonprofit organizations through complex, sustainable transformations.

Currently, Bernadette serves as a C-Suite executive—holding the role of Vice President of Administration, Compliance, and Clinic Integration at one of Minnesota’s largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Her extensive leadership background includes serving as Executive Director of a statewide mediation and restorative practice organization, and providing transnational policy analysis through the CeeBah Policy Group in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Driven by academic rigor, she is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and an Adjunct Faculty member at Dunwoody College of Technology.

A prolific researcher, Bernadette frequently co-authors peer-reviewed scholarship navigating constitutional law, trade policy, healthcare governance, and digital/AI ethics. She is a Minnesota Supreme Court Rule 114 Qualified Neutral, an active board leader (including serving as Board Chair for WellShare International), and a dedicated advocate for structural equity, accountability, and systemic innovation.

Bernadette is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation at Marymount University (Expected 2028). She holds a J.D. and LL.M from the University of Minnesota Law School, an MBA from Saint Catherine University, a B.Sc. from National American University, and an LL.B from the University of Yaoundé II, Cameroon.

Alieu Stephen Kafoe is an accomplished scholar-practitioner, operations executive, and business intelligence expert with over 23 years of leadership experience spanning the global food and beverage, process automation, and management consulting industries. As the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Pivotal Initiatives, Alieu directs the firm’s advisory practice in competitive strategy, supply chain optimization, quality management, sales management, process engineering, and data-driven business intelligence.

Throughout his executive career, Alieu has held senior leadership roles at globally prominent organizations. He has served as Sales Director within Heineken International (Sierra Leone), Chief Operating Officer/EOS Integrator for Urban Growler Brewing Company, and driven market solutions at Endress+Hauser SE+Co. KG (Germany).

His operational track record is defined by high-impact performance:

  • Under his leadership, Heineken Sierra Leone’s total market share expanded from 32% to 52.3%.

  • His supply chain interventions at Pivotal Initiatives have consistently reduced client sourcing costs by an average of 15% while boosting on-time delivery by 20%.

Alongside his role at Pivotal, he serves as an Expert Consultant with the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG).

A widely published and active researcher, Alieu’s academic focus sits at the intersection of supply chain resilience, geopolitical risk, and market innovation. He is the pioneer of the “Purple Ocean Strategy”—a hybrid competitive framework that bridges market defense and value innovation—and regularly authors peer-reviewed policy and macroeconomic scholarship. He currently serves under contract as a Book Editor for IGI Global Scientific Publishing and was invited as an Expert Reviewer for the UK Government’s Metascience Unit.

Alieu is a Doctoral Candidate in Business Intelligence (ABD) at Marymount University, completing a dissertation on global manufacturing governance and strategy implementation (Expected 2026). He holds an MBA with Distinction from Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences (Germany), a Diploma in Brewing Science from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (London), and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
